Railway Group D Exam Pattern

Railway Group D Exam Pattern: To get final selection in group D post of Railway Recruitment Board, candidate will have to pass through computer based test(Full form of CBT) and physical efficiency test(Full form of PET). CBT exam will be of total 100 marks for which total time will be given 90 minutes. There is provision of 1/3 negative marking for each wrong answer. Total 100 questions will be asked from 4 different subjects whose information is given in the table below.

RRB Group D Salary Structure

Any candidate who is selected for RRB Group D Recruitment gets a basic salary of 18000/-. Apart from this, they are given additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance(DA), Daily Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance(HRA), allowance for night duty, medical facilities, overtime allowance etc. After including the additional allowance, the in-hand salary of RRB Group D post ranges between 22500 to 25380 per month.

RRB Railway Group D Selection Process

To get selected in RRB group D, the candidate has to pass through three rounds in which first is a computer based test.

After passing CBT whose full form is Computer Based Test, one will have to pass PET whose full form is Physical Efficiency Test.

After qualifying in both these exams, one will have to wait for the merit list. After the name appears in the merit list, there will be medical test and document verification.

After being successful in all these processes, the candidate will be appointed.
