Coal India Limited Management Trainee Selection Process

  • CIL MT Management Trainee Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Online Test (CBT) only.
  • Total 100 questions will be asked in CBT Exam and 3 hours will be given to solve the questions.
  • Paper I and Paper II Both paper will be of 100 marks each.
  • There will be four subject in Paper I : General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General English.
  • In Paper II 100 multiple choice question will be asked from Professional Knowledge (Discipline related).
  • Each question will carry 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answer.

Coal India Limited Management Trainee Exam Qualifying Marks

There are category wise different qualifying marks in CIL MT Computer Based Online Test Exam as mentioned below:

  • For General / EWS: Minimum 40 marks in each paper
  • For OBC (Non -Creamy Layer): Minimum 35 marks in each paper
  • For SC / ST / PwBD: Minimum 30 marks in each paper
